Valerie has been working hard to help National Sawdust get off the ground. See the Link below, it is a new Music venue and practice space/creative crucible for the musically avant garde in NYC. Last night we attended the second of two events she helped organize. Both were incredible. You know when seeing Philip Glass play is not even the best part you are doing pretty well. My favs were Foday Musa Suso playing with PG, Inuit singer Tanya Tagaq, and Chris Thile jamming on the Mandolin.
