What a loss.
Phil had impossibly high standards for his work. It was contagious. He demanded the best from everyone and was not afraid to let people do their jobs. His set was truly collaborative and infectiously creative. I began to understand the great part of acting by watching him work. His loss feels like a hole in my career/life. This is not the first person I have seen go this way. Addiction is terrifying.
