Just got back from a family vacation from Jose Ignacio in Uruguay.  This is truly my favorite spot on earth.  I go to a lot of places so that means something.  I think the thing I like best is how it seems trapped in time.  It is an Atlantic beach town with a short season.  There are only about 50? houses on a small point and about 10 restaurants in walking distance from the beach.  The setting, the people and especially the food are top notch.  There is a restaurant called La Huella right on the beach that is PERFECT.  The more we stay there the more we discover other great things to do and see around there.  We met a Danish Family, the Lindes, there 2 years ago and we loosely said we would meet agian in two years.  Well we did and we all got along famously again.  Last time it wasn’t even warm there and we loved it.  this year we were blessed with a few hot days and we swam in the very cold water and fell even more in love.  I cannot imagine that I we will not go back to Jose Ignacio many many more times.
