Last year I spent a weekend upstate with the amazing Eva Midgley, her husband John, Madeline and a great group of talented and passionate volunteer crew members to shoot Eva’s short The Birthday Cut. Yesterday it WON the New York Shorts International Film Festival’s Best Drama award! I am so happy for Eva, and for all of of us. I’ll attach a link to see it when I get one.
